IT Sr. Specialist – 9 month FTC

Slalom’s IT Infrastructure Team is seeking an onsite IT Sr. Specialist to join its Infrastructure Operations Team for a 9 month fixed term contract. You are customer service focused. You are excited to solve IT problems for the people around you, include network connectivity, AV functionality, end device issues. You like to make people smile.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the onsite presence as a hub for IT service delivery and operations
  • Testing and monitoring network connectivity and user experience
  • Provide AV system onsite support, including testing, vendor coordination, and basic system setup and testing
  • Assist network, AV, and endpoint engineers to perform required activities onsite
  • Collect users’ reports of IT issues and accurately diagnose and resolve those issues, escalate as necessary
  • Work though assigned service and trouble tickets
  • Provide high quality customer service to local office, escalate issues to engineering teams when necessary
  • Provide high quality customer service to engineering teams, and deliver required IT services according to established standards
  • Willing to be available to travel when business needs arise

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of network administration and service desk administration
  • Solid understanding of enterprise AV and networking infrastructure design and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, cross functional groups, senior management, subordinates, team members and vendors/partners.
  • Experience with the following tools or platforms: Aruba, Palo Alto, Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.
