Interim Finance Business Partner - Rail Industry
Your new company
I am supporting a modern rail operator responsible for delivering one of the UK’s most significant and fast-growing transport services. They focus on safe, reliable, high-frequency rail operations that keep people connected across London and the surrounding regions.
Your new role
This Finance Business Partner position will manage 2 heads with a direct reporting line to the Head of Finance Business Partnering. You will focus on assisting with the year-end audit, budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder engagement. There will also be elements of financial modelling using Excel.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process for key business sections
- Commercial and financial leadership support
- Financial reporting, providing recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Driving financial system and process improvements
- Oversee the development of financial controls and compliance
- Experience working in the rail sector is desirable, but wider infrastructure is acceptable.
- Proficient in systems and reporting tools - Oracle Fusion and Power BI
- Ability to lead complex financial projects
- Advanced Excel
- Financial Modelling
