Quant Trading Operations Analyst Developer

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Quant Trading Operations Analyst Developer to join our high profile client.

Our client is a well-known global proprietary trading firm who leverages the latest technology, sophisticated algorithms and deep knowledge to trade in capital markets globally.

This is an environment of science and intellectuals. The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart entrepreneurial people deeply interested in the sector who are ready to teach what they know.

I am looking for a top tier junior or graduate with sub 2 years experience and the ability to deal with quick difficult maths problems. You will interface with various groups within the business to ensure that all trades are reflected accurately in all systems. Specifically, the trade operations specialist developer will be involved with research, rapid development execution of trade orders, as well as personal research.

This position requires close collaboration with their software development, DevOps, Trading and Infrastructure in an effort to best align technical solutions with the schedules and analytic needs of various strategies.

This is a role for someone who likes comp sci and a trading environment that is quick paced and has a very startup feel.

Quant Trading Operations Analyst Developer MUST have:

A at A-level Maths
Experience of Computer Science
Maths Stats or Comp Sci Degree from top 50 UK University
An interest and some coding ability (Ruby, Go, Lua, Scala, Python or C++ or OO Language)
An appetite for delivering solutions to complex problem
