What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for enthusiastic, warm, and committed teachers who believe in the potential of every child. You will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs are very welcome to apply), good teaching and class management skills, strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and/or Early Years Framework, familiarity with the SEN Code of Practice, experience of teaching and managing a class (teaching practices count for ECTs), excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a commitment to equality and celebrating diversity, and a reflective, open approach to professional development.

Commitment to safeguarding

Candidates are advised that references will be taken up immediately after shortlisting and prior to interview. The post will be offered subject to the satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks. In line with KCSIE 2024 and safer recruitment practices, an online search will be conducted for all shortlisted candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be provided with further guidance and may be asked to clarify their online presence. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as well as qualifications and reference checks.
