Direct Sales Executive

Premium Credit Limited
London

London | Hybrid working | Office attendance once per fortnight

Ready to turn great conversations into great results?

If you’re confident on the phone, enjoy building rapport with customers and get a buzz from hitting targets, this could be the opportunity for you.

We’re looking for a Direct Sales Executive to join our Specialist Lending team at Premium Credit. You’ll be speaking directly with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to introduce products and services that genuinely work for them.

This is a sales role where being commercially driven and customer-focused go hand in hand. You’ll have the freedom to take ownership of your conversations, build relationships and contribute directly to the continued growth of the business.

And with our hybrid approach, you’ll have plenty of flexibility too. This role is predominantly home-based, with attendance at our London office just once per fortnight.

Why Premium Credit?

Premium Credit is the UK and Ireland’s leading provider of insurance premium finance and funding for a range of annually charged services. We help more than three million customers spread the cost of essential payments — including insurance premiums, tax and regulatory fees, professional fees, school fees, memberships and season tickets — into manageable instalments. Working through a network of around 3,000 partners, we make important purchases more affordable and give individuals and businesses greater control over their cash flow.

We’re proud to be a multi-award-winning business, certified as a Great Place to Work® and recognised among the UK’s Best Workplaces™. We also hold a Silver Sustainability medal, a 4.2 rating on Glassdoor and a 4.5 rating on Trustpilot — recognition that reflects our commitment to creating a responsible, supportive workplace and delivering a great experience for our customers and colleagues.

We want people to enjoy coming to work, feel trusted to do their best and have opportunities to develop.

Alongside a competitive salary and incentive plan, our benefits include:

  • Hybrid working, with just one day per fortnight in our London office

  • 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell up to five days per year, pro rata

  • Private health and dental cover

  • Workplace pension

  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme

  • Access to Mental Health First Aiders

  • Support and investment in your ongoing personal and professional development

What you’ll be doing

No two customer conversations will be exactly the same, but your focus will be simple: providing a professional, engaging sales experience while identifying opportunities to grow our business.

You’ll:

  • Make proactive outbound calls to targeted new and existing customers

  • Identify sales and renewal opportunities and confidently progress them

  • Listen to customers, understand their needs and provide clear and accurate information about relevant products and services

  • Turn positive customer conversations into commercial opportunities

  • Take ownership of customer actions and follow them through quickly and professionally

  • Work towards agreed sales plans, objectives and targets

  • Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up activity

  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across Premium Credit

  • Represent our brand and values in every customer interaction

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to know everything about Premium Credit or our products on day one. What matters is that you can demonstrate a strong sales mindset, confidence communicating with customers and the motivation to learn.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Experience working in an outbound telephone sales environment

  • A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

  • Confidence making high volumes of outbound calls and engaging customers quickly

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach

  • The ability to spot opportunities and confidently progress them towards a sale

  • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities

  • A genuine commitment to delivering a great customer experience

  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Previous experience building and maintaining customer or client relationships would be an advantage.

Everyone is welcome

Premium Credit is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and are committed to providing reasonable adjustments or accommodations throughout our recruitment process.

Excited about the opportunity but don’t tick every box? Apply anyway. We’re interested in what you can bring, your potential and what you could achieve with us.

If you’re made an offer of employment, you’ll be required to prove your eligibility to work in the UK before you start work. You must reside in the UK from the start date of this role; unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

By submitting your application, you agree that Premium Credit may collect and process your personal data for recruitment and related purposes. Premium Credit uses AI tools to assist with parts of the application review process, including summarising CVs against relevant job criteria and transcribing interviews; however, our team always makes the final decision on every application. Please see our Recruitment Privacy Notice for further information about how we process your personal data during the recruitment process:

Any offer of employment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of our pre-employment screening requirements. These include verification of your right to work in the UK, a basic credit check, a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and employment references covering the previous three years. Where relevant to the role, we may also verify professional qualifications or memberships. These checks must be completed before your start date.

Please note that we reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a sufficient number of suitable applications. All applicants will be advised if the vacancy closes early.

We are not engaging agency support for this role and respectfully ask that agencies do not submit unsolicited candidate details to Premium Credit Limited in relation to this vacancy.
