Business Support Officer

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Business Support Officer to assist with the appointment of a  Bromley , on a 6-month contract , likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay : £13.91 - £18.00/Hour

Summary:

The Business Support Officer provides vital administrative and coordination support to the Central Placements Team and the Practice Review Groups (PRGs) within the Adult Care Services. The post supports accurate and efficient service delivery, focusing on timely coordination, recording, and circulation of care service and funding decisions. The role also assists with broader financial and operational processes and provides cover for other administrators within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate appointments and minute Practice Review Group (PRG) meetings, ensuring funding decisions are kept up to date.
  
• Receive and distribute referral documents in line with PRG terms of reference.
• Prepare and circulate agendas and case information to care and social work managers.
  
• Disseminate decisions and required actions from PRG meetings to responsible officers.
• Accurately update Carefirst and other database systems with decisions and service records.

Requirements:

• Demonstrably literate and numerate.
• Minimum of two years experience in a general administrative or business support role.
• Experience in organising and minuting formal meetings.
  
• Previous experience within a local authority or health service environment.
• Familiarity with social care recording systems is advantageous.
