The Dickson Poon School of Law at Kings College London is one of the oldest law schools in England and recognised as one of the best law schools in the world. About the role
The Dickson Poon School of Law is seeking to appoint a Professor of Law and Vice Dean Education.
The successful candidate will support the Executive Dean by providing academic leadership and strategic direction to the Schools education agenda in line with The Schools strategies and policies. The Vice Dean Education represents the School at College level in educational matters in Education Executive and College Education Committee.
The Vice Dean Education manages the Schools education offering and chairs the Schools Education Committee. The role holder works closely with The Schools Professional Services lead for education, the Associate Director Education. This post will be on either the Education and Research or Academic Education pathway for a candidate with outstanding teaching expertise and research interests in Law. The successful candidate will receive a teaching allocation reduction and an additional stipend for the duration of their tenure as Vice Dean Education.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
