Nanny with a Passion for Cooking – Richmond TW10

This lovely role Daily role is based in Richmond. We are seeking an experienced Nanny with two work passions, children and cooking!

The children are two lovely boys aged 10 months and 7 years.

This is a wonderful role for someone who is naturally organised, loves children, and has a passion for preparing simple, nutritious, and varied meals.

We are looking for someone with a gentle and kind demeanour who thrives in a warm, organised, and friendly household.

The ideal candidate is experienced in working alongside a busy mum in a shared-care capacity, while also being confident to take sole charge as needed (on average for 4–5 hours per day).
This allows Mum the time to step out or focus on other tasks. Mum will also be studying from October.

The cooking element:
A confident cook who enjoys following recipes, making suggestions, and genuinely loves preparing delicious, simple meals.

Professional cooking experience in a private home is ideal, but not essential if you are a passionate cook who has regularly prepared meals for others and can embrace this as a core part of your day.
You will menu plan weekly, create the shopping list and prepare lunch and dinner for Mum and children. (Dad too if not travelling for work).

Food can be simple, healthy, and nutritious "home-style" meals (e.g., grilled meats/fish, fresh soups, one-pot meals, vegetables, homemade pizza or pasta type dishes. Nutrition is important.

Childcare & Household Duties

Childcare:

Sole and shared care of a 10-month-old boy and a 7-year-old boy.
Duties include school runs, taking baby to groups and out for walks and the older boy to extra-curricular activities (such as football), and arranging playdates.

Nursery Duties: All daily tasks related to the care and well-being of the children.

Organisation:
Managing family laundry, tidying up after meals, managing the dishwasher, running errands, and maintaining baby essentials (nappies, etc.).

The dog: You must be comfortable with an excitable Spaniel puppy - a dog walker is employed.

Note: A part time housekeeper is employed 3 days per week.

Candidate Requirements

Attributes: Warm, reliable, and seeking a long-term role. You should bring a sense of calm and "quiet efficiency" to the home.

Skills: Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage kitchen and childcare duties smoothly.

Communication: A confident communicator, keeping mum up to date throughout the day.

Logistics: 45 hours per week. The times can be discussed, but generally a 9/9.30 or 10am start, until 6.30/7/7.30pm

A strong preference for Saturday cover (with a weekday off in exchange), though this is negotiable for the right applicant.
This role is a 5 day week.

Travel: Willingness to travel to Europe with the family (approx. 4 weeks per year).

Compensation
Salary: Circa £50,000–£60,000 gross per annum (Depending on Experience).

Additional: Weekly babysitting paid separately.

Start Date: March 2026.
