About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join the school full-time on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will:

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting across the school
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll
• Prepare management accounts, forecasts, and financial statements
• Support the senior leadership team with strategic financial advice
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to the smooth running and strategic development of the school

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally within an education or independent school setting
• Strong accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting skills
• Proficiency with finance software and MS Excel
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work proactively and independently
• Legal right to work in the UK
