Internal Medicine Veterinary Surgeon | State-of-the-Art Hospital - East London

This role is designed for a clinician who is "chomping at the bit" for a permanent medicine-focused position. Whether you have already achieved your Certificate or are currently working towards one, this hospital provides the caseload and equipment to truly elevate your career.

The Role & Clinical Environment

Joining a large, collaborative team of approximately 25 Vets and 40+ Nursing staff, you will provide critical investigative and diagnostic support.

• Caseload: A plethora of endoscopy and ultrasound cases—prior experience in these areas is highly valued.
• Advanced Diagnostics: Full on-site access to a CT scanner, commercial laboratory, and facilities for minimally invasive surgery.
• Collaboration: Work alongside Senior Internal Medics and experienced surgeons in a high-morale, supportive culture.
• Evidence-Based Care: High standards of clinical reasoning and a client-centred approach are at the heart of everything we do.

The Package

• Salary: £45,000 – £72,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
• Work-Life Balance: 4-day working week (average 40 hours) on a 6-week rotation.
• Weekends: 1:3 Saturdays and 1:6 Sundays.
• On-Call: Minimal on-call rotation (approx. once every 2 weeks).
• Generous Leave: 6.6 weeks annual leave (including bank holidays).
