About the Role
As an SEN Support Assistant, you’ll provide tailored support to students with a range of learning needs, helping them grow academically and socially. You’ll work closely with teachers and specialists to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Support students with SEN in their daily learning and development
- Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Encourage participation and build confidence in the classroom
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals
- Monitor progress and share feedback with the teaching team
Requirements
- Experience working with children with SEN (preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Ability to adapt to the needs of students and the school
