Head of GTS Sales, UK NRFB and HBEU Subs and Branches

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Head of GTS Sales, UK NRFB and HBEU Subs and Branches.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver revenue growth in line with GTS Europe and Americas targets, whilst ensuring robust profitability and returns
- Maintain a high degree of sales intensity across the frontline team and deepen customer relationships by championing internal collaboration including with CIB and transaction banking partners including Global Payments Solutions, Markets and Securities Services
- Deliver a market leading customer experience by cultivating a consistent and appropriate selling and service culture
- Ensure connectivity to the wider trade finance industry, building thought leadership and adapting to regulatory and market infrastructure changes
- Exhibit strong understanding of new revenue sources and contribute to the development of new GTS propositions
- Act as a role model for the UK NRFB and HBEU subs and branches team, and wider GTS Europe and Americas, inspiring employee engagement and motivation, ensuring the team actively pursues training and development opportunities
- Ensure the GTS UK NRFB and HBEU subs and branches strategy aligns to the broader strategies developed by GTS Europe and Americas, Global GTS and CIB
- Maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and that reputational risk impact is mitigated for GTS
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to achieve safe and sustainable revenue growth and sales targets through a client and solution-centric approach
- Detailed knowledge of the trade finance business and working capital
- Broad corporate/commercial banking and relationship management experience
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment while making material progress with clients and stakeholders across the global HSBC network
- Highly developed communication and influencing skills set along with leadership and management skills, with experience in team building and managing a wide range of priorities
- Experience delivering people strategies to attract and retain and the best talent in the industry
- Ability to use strong judgement to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to lead across functional boundaries and provide clear guidance to teams, sharing best practices
- Awareness of global economic and political factors and their impact on GTS with the ability to anticipate trends and respond proactively
The base location of this role is London operating a Hybrid working model.
