Lead Operations & Supply Chain Manager

Veblen International
London

Now over 10 years old, this entrepreneurial brand has built a strong reputation in luxury health supplements, with a direct-to-consumer model that fosters deep, lasting relationships with its community. With a mission-driven culture that values balance, mental wellbeing, and authenticity, they are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate and knowledgeable about the wellness sector, and eager to contribute to a brand that truly makes a positive impact.

As Lead Operations & Supply Chain Manager, you’ll have the autonomy to lead the full operational lifecycle - from end-to-end supply chain management to NPD production. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Product, you will oversee production, supplier partnerships, logistics, and regulatory compliance, ensuring every product meets the brand’s high-quality standards while optimising cost and efficiency.

This is a pivotal role for a hands-on, solutions-focused professional with strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll balance strategic leadership with day-to-day delivery, driving initiatives that directly influence the brand’s growth, innovation, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage stock systems, production forecasts, and inventory planning.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies to protect margins.
  • Develop production processes, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Oversee sustainable packaging development and supplier negotiations.
  • Lead onboarding of new manufacturers and manage new product launch processes.
  • Maintain quality assurance across production and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Build business cases for new products, managing costs, pricing, and investments.
  • Oversee production runs for testing, validation, and continuous improvement.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in a production management or supply chain role, ideally in the health supplement industry.
  • Experience in forecasting required.
  • Expertise in managing large-scale supply chains, including supplier contracts, SLAs, and quality control processes.
  • Solid understanding of relevant compliance standards for supplements in the UK (US experience is a plus).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in managing and interpreting forecast data.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities to maintain high supplier standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • High attention to detail, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and nutrition is a plus.
  • Experience in launching products into new markets and conducting supplier reviews and audits is desirable.
