Neuro Rehab Occupational Therapist

JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Neuro Rehab Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.

The pay for this position is £22-£26 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

The successful candidate will only be required to work on Saturdays.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.

Skills/Experience required:
- Experience working with various neurological conditions including Stroke, Acute Brain Injury/Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Rehabilitation, Functional Neurological Disorder and Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness.
- Able to complete thorough initial assessments and work collaboratively with MDT. Thorough documentation skills.
- Confident with treatment of complex and specialist cases within field of neurological therapy. Strong clinical reasoning skills.
- Good understanding of relationship between physical, cognitive, psychological and social dimensions of illness. Knowledge of current legislation.
- Ability to conduct appropriate Risk Assessments as needed.
- Good communication skills with MDT, patients and families.
- Proficient with computer usage and online systems.
