Science Technician - East London
A successful and well-resourced secondary school in East London is seeking a Science Technician to join its dynamic Science department from January 2026 .
The school has a Good Ofsted rating and a reputation for delivering a strong STEM curriculum supported by dedicated laboratory staff and modern facilities.
The Role
You’ll assist teachers in preparing and maintaining resources for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons. Duties include setting up experiments, managing stock, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
The Department
The Science department is well-equipped, with separate prep rooms for each discipline, a supportive Head Technician, and an experienced teaching team committed to practical learning.
About You
- Previous experience in a laboratory or technician role.
- Knowledge of science equipment and safety procedures.
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
