Technology Operations Analyst (Hiring Immediately)
We are looking for a Technology Operations Analyst to join a Lloyd’s of London insurer. Sitting within the Engineering, Product & Delivery function, you will be the person who keeps the department running smoothly behind the scenes, pulling together budgets, suppliers, events, communications and reporting so that technology leaders can spend their time on strategy, people and delivery.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys working with a broad range of stakeholders and wants a varied, visible role at the heart of a technology team within a well regarded insurer.
Key Responsibilities
- Track departmental spend, forecasts and supplier commitments, keeping leadership informed of the financial position
- Work alongside Finance and Procurement on purchase orders, contract renewals and consultancy engagements
- Organise the department’s calendar of leadership meetings, planning cycles, town halls and away days
- Own internal communications, from intranet content to announcements celebrating team wins and milestones
- Run the governance rhythm for the function, keeping on top of risks, actions and decisions
- Pull together management information and reporting packs for senior technology stakeholders
- Serve as the first point of contact for vendors, industry event invitations and external enquiries
- Monitor progress and dependencies on cross-team initiatives, flagging issues early
- Spot inefficiencies in how the department operates and put forward practical improvements
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues across Technology, Finance and HR
Requirements
- Background in technology operations, business management, PMO or a comparable coordination role
- Proven ability to juggle competing priorities and see tasks through to completion
- Clear, polished communication skills, both written and verbal
- A commercial mindset and comfort working with budgets, suppliers and contracts
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders from analyst level through to senior leadership
- Accuracy and attention to detail without losing sight of the wider picture
- Strong working knowledge of collaboration, reporting and planning tools
- Exposure to insurance or the London Market would be beneficial but is not required
Benefits
Salary: up to £40k
Length: Permanent contract
