  • Produce and maintain technical actuarial and modelling documentation.

  • Ensure all modelling activities align with internal policies, control frameworks, and actuarial standards.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve modelling processes and workflows.
  • Stay up to date on emerging trends, technical advancements, and regulatory changes.
  • Support compliance with regulatory conduct requirements, including FCA and PRA expectations.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as needed to support the Actuarial Function.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified actuary (IFoA or equivalent) with experience in the UK life insurance sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in actuarial model development (RAFM and/or Python preferred).
  • Strong understanding of actuarial principles and regulatory context, especially relating to internal modelling.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Highly organised with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Adaptable, pragmatic, and proactive in identifying and implementing solutions.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality output.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with actuarial leadership and cross-functional teams.
