Senior Conference Producer

Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Senior Conference Producer to take ownership of conference content across a portfolio of events. This is a senior position responsible for shaping content strategy, driving speaker acquisition, managing programme development, and ensuring the successful delivery of world-class conferences. You will be collaborating closely with sales, sponsorship, marketing, and operations teams to deliver engaging, commercially successful events across Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the conference content strategy across multiple international event editions.
• Research target markets to identify industry trends, emerging topics, and audience requirements.
• Conduct research interviews with delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, industry experts, and stakeholders.
• Create engaging conference programmes, including keynote presentations, panel discussions, technical sessions, workshops, and interactive formats.
• Analyse delegate feedback, market intelligence, and event performance data to enhance future programmes.
• Source, recruit, and manage senior-level speakers from relevant industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with speakers, advisory boards, sponsors, and strategic partners.
• Manage all speaker communications, briefing processes, presentation materials, and deadlines.
• Oversee content delivery across multiple events, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Attend and manage conferences on-site, acting as a senior point of contact for speakers and stakeholders.
• Support commercial objectives by collaborating with sales and sponsorship teams on content opportunities.
• Manage sponsored speaking sessions while maintaining editorial quality and audience value.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a Conference Producer, providing guidance on content development and speaker recruitment.
• Drive best practice, establish production processes, and maintain quality standards across the portfolio.
• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Content, Sales, Sponsorship, and Operations teams to maximise event success.

Requirements & Experience

• Significant experience as a Conference Producer, Senior Conference Producer, or within a similar B2B events content role.
• Proven success creating research-led conference programmes and securing high-profile industry speakers.
• Strong research, interviewing, editorial, and communication skills.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, sponsors, advisory boards, and industry experts.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of how conference content supports sponsorship, delegate revenue, and audience growth.
• Previous experience managing, mentoring, or developing team members.
• Ability to establish effective processes and maintain consistency across multiple projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and attend events on-site.
• Experience within large-scale B2B conferences, exhibitions, or summits is highly desirable.
• Experience working across international markets and managing sponsored content would be advantageous.
• Understanding of audience insight, event analytics, and content performance metrics is desirable.
