Wrap-Around Care Manager Putney, London
Salary: £30,000 £35,000 per year Full Time Term Time + Holiday Camps
Lead a brand-new wrap-around care provision in a prestigious London primary school.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Wrap-Around Care Manager to launch and lead our wrap-around care provision (ages 4 11) at a highly regarded primary school in Putney. This full-time position covers breakfast club, after-school club and holiday camps. Your working day is split into two sessions to support morning and afternoon delivery, with full-day pay provided.

Breakfast Club: 07 30
Afterschool Club: 14 00
(Paid split-shift time for planning or personal commitments)
You will shape the culture of this new provision, manage a team, ensure high-quality daily delivery, and uphold exceptional safeguarding and safety standards.
About Munchkin Sports
Munchkin Sports is a child-centred sports coaching and childcare organisation introducing children aged 2 11 to sport and active play. We operate after-school clubs, weekend sessions, PPA cover, holiday camps, birthday parties and wrap-around care. Our ethos centres on fun, safety and inclusion, teaching children the Munchkin Fundamentals (Fitness, Agility, Balance, Skills and Spatial Awareness).

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day delivery of breakfast club, after-school club and holiday camps.
- Manage, mentor and support the Assistant Manager and part-time coaching team.
- Plan and deliver engaging sport, play and creative activities.
- Oversee registers, attendance, health & safety and safeguarding processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with school leadership and staff.
- Provide excellent communication to parents and carers.
- Ensure all services meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Handle daily routines including snacks, transitions and end-of-day handover.
- Lead camps during school holidays, including planning themes and staff rotas.
- Embed organisation values while supporting continuous improvement and innovation.
Team Structure
You will lead a full-time Assistant Manager and a wider team of part-time or casual coaches and support staff, ensuring they feel supported, motivated and aligned with our values.
About You
We are looking for someone who demonstrates:
Strong leadership and people-management experience.
Excellent communication skills with parents and school stakeholders.
A customer-focused approach and a passion for high-quality childcare.
Strong organisation, planning and multi-tasking skills.
Creativity in designing wide-ranging activities beyond sport.
Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and health & safety.
Experience in wrap-around care, holiday camps or similar childcare settings.
Enhanced DBS, safeguarding training and paediatric first aid (or willingness to train).
