We are recruiting qualified, innovative and dynamic Sessional Tutors and Lecturers to join our excellent team at the Macbeth Centre to teach courses in-person (occasionally online) to adult learners. If you are successful, you will be added to our Tutor Pool so our Programme Managers can discuss course development with you. In some subjects, this will be for an immediate start.

Requirements:
Teaching experience + teaching qualification + qualification in your subject area + industry experience (where relevant). We will support motivated, passionate and experienced individuals to progress in their teaching career. We are specifically looking for tutors able to deliver courses in the following subjects. If you teach other subjects, we welcome your interest.

Automobiles
Are you passionate about teaching, possess industry experience and keen to equip adult and young students with the skills to work in the modern automotive industry? Topic areas include cars and light vehicles (both mechanical and electrical), vehicle systems, maintenance and repairs, theory, reports and workplace skills, customer service and career progression from Entry Level to Level 2 or higher, accredited and non-accredited.

Business - Management
Are you a teacher with industry experience of business management, transitions and change, with the ability to support adult learners on intermediate to higher level accredited courses in preparation for our Upstream Project at White City in 2025-26?

Business - Retail
We are looking for a skilled teacher with industry experience of retail and / or business, who can help develop our teaching programme; subjects include customer service, work preparation, the retail industry, starting your own business, and teamwork. You should have experience of teaching accredited and non-accredited practical courses with underpinning theory, and good capabilities in leading adult students to develop skills in these areas. We are developing active business partners in Hammersmith & Fulham, and work with the Upstream Project and others from 2025 onwards.

Digital, ICT, Technology & Business Technology roles
Are you a skilled teacher with the ability to support adult learners on Beginner and Intermediate Office-app courses, from Entry Level to Level 2? Are you a qualified, experienced teacher with great communication skills and the ability to teach adult learners about business IT applications such as Automated Payroll, Accounting, Cyber Security, AI, Coding, Python, Quantum Computing, Business Transitioning and other, similar subjects, either with or alongside our participation in the Upstream Project at White City in 2025-26?

ESOL & Functional Skills / GCSE English and Maths
We are particularly looking for skilled and experienced teachers who are qualified to teach ESOL, FS English and Maths courses from Entry Level to Level 2 and/or GCSE.

Green Skills / Sustainability
Help us develop a first-class sustainability programme. Are you a qualified, experienced teacher with the ability to lead adult students at beginner and intermediate levels in green topics including recycling, water, and common and alternate energy sources, as well as other areas in development (accredited and non-accredited)? Interested in participation in the Upstream Project, 2025-26?

Family Learning
We are looking for experienced teachers capable of leading FL Activities including arts and crafts, storytelling, performing arts and homework clubs for English and Maths for parents and children.

Food Studies
Are you a gifted chef and experienced teacher with the skills to teach adults the knowledge that will advance their enjoyment of food and their employment in catering. Topics include patisserie, baking, food preparation, cuisines from around the world, cooking at home and nutrition. We are seeking teachers with experience of teaching accredited and non-accredited practical courses, with underpinning theory.

Health & Wellbeing for 50+
We are seeking tutors able to teach general fitness or aerobics, Pilates, cardiac rehab, Feldenkrais and Tai Chi.

Visual and Performing Arts
Dance, drama, digital music production, drawing and painting.

Welding
Are you a qualified, experienced teacher with the ability to help adult learners develop practical, industry-level skills in welding, in our state-of-the-art workshop at the Macbeth Centre?
