Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Community Adaptations
Location: London
Rate: Up to £38 per hour

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will conduct assessments for adults requiring equipment and adaptations. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, identify and recommend equipment and adaptations to promote independence, and provide appropriate information and advice to service users and their families. Additionally, you will collaborate with other agencies such as Housing, NHS, and voluntary organizations to ensure the best outcomes. You will ensure that completed adaptations meet the assessed needs and provide equipment to enable the best use of the adaptations. Staying updated on developments within the Occupational Therapy equipment field and maintaining professional development to meet ongoing Health Professions Council registration needs are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have Social Care Wales registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have minimum 3 years post qualified experience plus technology & software skills.
