Corporate M&A Associate
The team sits within a fully integrated global corporate practice, regularly working alongside market-leading tax, finance, competition, real estate and regulatory lawyers to deliver holistic, commercial advice on some of the most high-profile transactions in the UK market.
The Role
You will be involved in:
- High-value public and private M&A transactions, including £800m+ deals
- Joint ventures, strategic investments and complex corporate restructurings
- Sponsor-side and investment bank advisory work
- Cross-border transactions requiring coordination with international offices
The Team
The London corporate group is recognised for:
- Strong intellectual rigour combined with excellent commercial judgement
- A calm, solutions-driven approach on complex and time-critical matters
- High levels of partner accessibility and genuine teamwork
- A reputation for advising across sectors such as infrastructure, real estate, financial institutions and natural resources
- UK-qualified corporate lawyer (typically 3-8 PQE, but flexibility at the margins)
- Strong grounding in public and/or private M&A
- Experience gained at a leading City, international or top-tier practice
- Technically excellent, commercially minded, and confident dealing with sophisticated clients
- Comfortable working on large, multi-disciplinary transactions
- Exposure to big-ticket, headline transactions without a churn-driven culture
- A platform that values judgement, soft skills and commercial insight, not just execution
- Clear long-term progression within a globally respected corporate practice
