The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school team in Islington from October 2025. In this role, you will work 1:1 with a child with autism, supporting their learning, communication, and social development both inside and outside the classroom. You will collaborate closely with the class teacher and the school’s SENCO to implement tailored strategies and ensure the pupil’s individual needs are met. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children with autism, excellent communication skills, and a calm, nurturing approach to behaviour and emotional support.
