Event Festival Support Manager
Hybrid working: 4 days in office, 1 from home
Iconic heritage outdoor spaces, a growing international calendar spanning three continents, and site infrastructure builds at serious festival scale. A boutique independent promoter where an Events Site Production Manager leads the full site advance, earns performance bonuses and lands international shows on their CV fast.
- Iconic outdoor venues and upcoming international festivals for your CV
- Performance bonuses on top of salary
- Enforced time off during season, not extra weekend working
- Clear progression path toward international festival management
- Flat, supportive team with a genuine no-blame culture
The Company
This is a boutique independent live music promoter with two distinct arms: outdoor greenfield festivals and indoor concert series. The outdoor portfolio runs across some of the UK's most recognised heritage and outdoor spaces, with international shows already on the calendar and more in development. The team is small, hands-on and non-hierarchical, and the Events Site Production Manager sits within strong feedback loops and a culture where problems get raised and solved openly.
The Role
As Events Site Production Manager, you will own the site advance and on-the-ground delivery for the outdoor portfolio, working closely with the Head of Production, a Site Coordinator, and the wider technical, creative and safety leads across greenfield festivals and large-scale outdoor concert series.
- Own the critical path across the outdoor portfolio, including deadlines and dependencies
- Assess access, ground conditions and available services during site visits
- Advance structures, fencing, trackway, power, water, waste, welfare and plant
- Prepare budgets, compare quotations and keep forecasts and commitments current
- Lead site mark-out, build, live maintenance and derig with allocated site teams
- Translate venue and heritage requirements into clear supplier and crew instructions
- Flag risks early to the Head of Production with options and costs
The Candidate
The right Events Site Production Manager will have a solid background in outdoor festival or large-scale live event site production, with hands-on experience across site planning, budget control, infrastructure sequencing and supplier management. You are comfortable assessing a site from scratch, briefing crews confidently, and identifying problems before they affect the build.
Experience in greenfield festival environments is the natural fit, though candidates from large-scale outdoor concerts or touring production with transferable site infrastructure skills are equally welcome. Above all, this role suits someone who leads calmly on site, communicates clearly across teams, and takes ownership without needing to be chased.
Performance bonuses, enforced downtime built into the outdoor season, and a genuine pathway into international festival delivery are all part of the package here. Applications for this Events Site Production Manager role are moving quickly, so get yours in now to secure a place in the first round of interviews.
