Reward Project Lead (M&A & Job Architecture)
Job Description
Frazer Jones is partnering with a major international business to appoint a Reward Project Lead (M&A & Job architecture) . This is a particularly interesting permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of Reward but also wants exposure to significant business change. The position combines two areas: taking ownership of the Reward agenda when the organisation buys, sells or integrates businesses, and helping develop a more structured and consistent approach to job levels and architecture globally. You will work across a highly international stakeholder group and have the opportunity to influence important decisions at both transaction and organisational level. What you'll be doing A major part of the position will involve supporting corporate transactions from a Reward perspective. You will review the pay and incentive arrangements within businesses involved in M&A activity, helping the organisation understand potential liabilities, costs and areas requiring attention before a transaction progresses. Following completion, you will then help determine how employees, roles, salaries and incentive arrangements should transition into the wider organisation. Alongside the M&A work, you'll play an important role in the organisation's approach to job evaluation and job architecture. This will include: Assessing roles and recommending appropriate grading outcomes. Producing analysis to support internal decisions around job levels. Helping ensure evaluation decisions are applied consistently across different areas and geographies. Supporting the evolution of global job families and career levels. Considering salary positioning when roles or populations move into new structures. Reviewing bonus and incentive arrangements during organisational change. Providing clear analysis and recommendations to senior HR and business stakeholders. Working closely with colleagues across Reward, HR, Finance, Legal and Talent. Who we're looking for We are looking for an established Reward professional who has operated in a large, complex organisation and is comfortable moving between detailed analysis and senior stakeholder conversations. Ideally, you will have: Broad experience within compensation and Reward. Strong knowledge of job evaluation, grading and job architecture. Exposure to Reward activity connected to acquisitions, disposals or business integrations. Experience assessing pay and incentive information as part of organisational change. Strong numerical and analytical skills. The ability to form pragmatic recommendations from complex information. Experience managing several projects or workstreams simultaneously. Confidence working with stakeholders across different functions, countries and levels of seniority. You don't necessarily need to have spent your entire career specialising in M&A. Someone with strong Reward fundamentals, credible job evaluation experience and meaningful exposure to transactions or integration could be equally relevant. Why this role? What makes the opportunity particularly attractive is the combination of M&A exposure and longer-term Reward transformation. Rather than focusing purely on BAU compensation activity, you will be involved when the shape of the organisation is changing, helping determine how new populations are brought into the business while simultaneously improving the underlying framework used to organise and value roles. The position sits within a substantial global organisation and offers flexible working alongside a competitive package. This role effectively offers remote working but the preference is that you will have quick links in to London for monthly in-person team meetings and the role will also involve some european travel. You'll report to the Global Head of Reward who is based in London. If your background combines Reward, job evaluation and organisational change, and you would like to develop further expertise around the Reward implications of M&A, I would be keen to hear from you. The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. TPBN1_UKTJ
