Job Role This role will support the TMW Data Team delivering a breadth of data outputs, from campaign counts to analysis of customer behaviour, in support of a QSR client and their loyalty scheme programme delivery and optimisation. You will have a passion for using data to help clients understand their customer base across acquisition, growth and retention; helping them make better decisions matched with an inquisitive, problem-solving mind. Main responsibilities and accountabilities- Analyse data from the client database and related client data repositories, e.g. the ESP, to understand customer and campaign performance
- Run data discovery and audience counts to support campaign development
- Liaise with the client to identify, using data, opportunities and threats to the health of the performance of their customer base
- Understand and be able to deliver projects such as RFM, LTV, marketing optimisation, basket analysis, spend associations, churn analysis, promotional performance
- Lead delivery of smaller projects and work as part of a team on other projects ensuring robust and timely delivery of all aspects of an analytical project.
- Ensure that any proposed methodology is analytically robust and appropriate rigour is applied throughout the entire process to ensure the solution is fit-for-purpose.
- Ensure all analysis is accurate and a QA process followed
- Build good working relations with all immediate colleagues and the McDonald’s CRM and digital team
- Work well as part of a team, supporting the delivery of work across the client
- Have an awareness of market leading and emerging technologies and languages related to data science, analytics and visualisation. Have an awareness of market leading and emerging analytical methodologies and techniques and their applications.
- An undergraduate degree in computer science, business analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics, social sciences or related fields.
- Curiosity, enthusiasm, positive attitude, a passion to build, and a willingness to seek and learn new concepts.
- An iterative approach to analysis through continuous challenge and enquire.
- Outstanding analytical skills.
- Experience in customer/CRM analytics
- Proven track record of working with data to drive better business decisioning.
- Experience of languages including Python and SQL for the purposes of analysis.
- Experience of analysing large datasets contained within client databases
- A post-graduate degree in computer science, business analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics, social sciences or related fields.
- Experience of visualisation tools including Power Business Intelligence (BI) and Tableau
- Experience of GA and digital data
- Keen understanding of business objectives and ability to apply this understanding to deliver analytical projects for difficult and complex technical issues.
- Interpret complex data and extract that ‘business value add’.
- Strong, results-driven personality with a high level of enthusiasm, energy and confidence
- Should be passionate and bring expertise in creating a data "discovery-driven" culture.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work with both technical and non-technical people.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain analytic results and models to a non-technical audience.
