Student Success Tutor (LCCM)
London College of Contemporary Music (LCCM) is a specialist music school in Central London, that teaches degrees in music performance, music production and music business. Founded by passionate musicians, LCCM offers cutting-edge undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in music.

As Student Success Tutor, you will be required to provide personalised, 1 to 1 or group academic support for students in achieving their academic goals. The Student Success Tutor plays a critical role in ensuring that students receive personalised guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
This role is designed to help students achieve their academic goals through proactive coaching and support. The Student Success Tutor will create individualised strategies and plans, working closely with students to set and track academic goals, overcome barriers to success, and engage with resources. The role contributes directly to improving retention and enhancing the overall student experience through close collaboration with academic departments and student support teams.
Essential :
- A Master’s degree in a relevant subject (Education, Psychology, Student Support or a related discipline)
- Qualifications in coaching, mentoring, or academic advising.
- Knowledge or experience of the music industry, music education, or creative career pathways and an understanding of the pressures faced by students in these areas.
Desirable :
- A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualifications (or willingness to work towards one)
- Experience working in a student support, pastoral, or academic advisory role within higher or further education.
- Experience working directly with creative or performing arts students, ideally within a music education environment.
