12 Month Contract (with possibility of going permanent)

Robert Half is supporting a large bank in building out a specialist team focused on transaction reporting remediation. We are hiring Regulatory Transaction Reporting Remediation Specialists to join a dedicated programme.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact team addressing complex regulatory reporting challenges across European and US frameworks.
The Role
You will:
- Investigate and remediate issues in trade & transaction reporting to regulators
- Analyse and resolve data and system issues within reporting databases
- Support regulator-facing queries (data lineage, discrepancies, missing/incorrect submissions)
- Help reduce backlog and improve reporting quality and controls
- Work closely with stakeholders across IT, Operations, and Compliance
What We’re Looking For
We’re building a well-rounded team, so experience in one or more of the following is key:
- EMIR (EU & UK)
- MiFID (EU & UK)
- SFTR
- CFTC
- SEC
Strong preference for candidates with:
- European regulatory experience (banking)
- Background in Global Markets / Capital Markets
- Strong understanding of trade/transaction data flows and reporting systems
- Ability to analyse issues, implement fixes, and clearly explain them to regulators
