Nanny
- London (W2)
- Live-in accommodation provided: ground-floor bedroom / suite-style room within a townhouse, with a dedicated bathroom for the nanny’s use. Start date:
- September 2026 (flexible for the right candidate) Working hours & flexibility:
- Circa 55 hours per week in London on a “standard” week
- Additional flexibility required for:
- Mother’s work travel (typical pattern): up to two weeks per month, away Mon–Fri. During these periods, the family may require extended sole-charge cover, potentially including overnight care.
- Occasional evenings/weekends, weddings and short breaks/overnights.
- Travel with the family (UK / EU and occasionally USA). Duties (all baby-related):
- Sole-charge care: safety, wellbeing, routines, sleep, feeding
- Proactive planning of age-appropriate activities and developmental support
- Taking the baby to classes, playdates and outdoor activities
- Managing and attending medical appointments
- Baby laundry, organisation and stock management (clothing, supplies, equipment)
- Weaning/nutrition as baby grows: meal planning + meal prep for the baby, creating a weekly plan and shopping list; grocery shopping within a set budget
- Keeping baby areas tidy and organised (nursery, toys, bottles/sterilising, pram etc.)
- Light household support directly connected to the baby’s needs (e.g., baby dishes / loading dishwasher as required) Candidate requirements:
- Strong nanny experience with babies/young children; confident with routines and a structured day
- Calm, proactive, engaged and genuinely invested in early-years development
- Kind, gentle, warm, energetic, creative, attentive, outdoorsy and considerate
- Discreet, respectful and reliable with high professional standards
- A natural curiosity and shared values around parenting and raising the little one.
- Strong English (spoken and written)
- Paediatric First Aid/CPR (or willingness to update immediately)
- Confident swimmer
- Confident driver
- Comfortable travelling with the family
- Clear, constructive communicator: able to raise concerns professionally and transparently Desirable:
- German or French (bilingual highly valued)
- Early years / pedagogical background; Montessori familiarity a plus Salary & benefits:
- A 55-hour/week live-in role is likely to sit in the region of £45,000–£55,000+ gross depending on experience
- Additional hours/overnights/travel will be compensated and clearly defined within the contract structure. Benefits typically include:
- Statutory holiday (plus agreed annual leave structure)
- Sick pay in line with statutory requirements (with any enhanced days as agreed)
- A formal employment contract with probation period and clear notice terms Right to work:
