Class 2 Driver

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable Class 1 Driver to join our depot team in the Hoddesdon area. This is a permanent, full‑time position that offers flexible working patterns, modern vehicles and no overnight stays. As the face of the organization, you will deliver milk and ingredient products to stores and regional distribution centres across the M25 and Greater London.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver milk and related products safely and on schedule to a variety of retail locations.
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle checks.
• Plan efficient routes and manage multi‑drop deliveries.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous interaction with customers.
• Load and unload trolleys safely, adhering to health‑and‑safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence (LGV Cat C+E) with a CPC digital card.
• Maximum of 6 minor licence points and no serious convictions.
• Experience in multi‑drop Class 1 deliveries (preferred but not mandatory).
• Physically fit to handle loading and unloading duties.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and a strong team player.

Working Conditions & Compensation

• Permanent, full‑time role with flexible shift patterns.
• Hourly rate: £16.63 – £27.32 (depending on shift).
• Overtime rate: £18.71 per hour .
• £500 sign‑on bonus after successful completion of a 12‑week probation period.
• Monthly payroll.
• 33 days annual leave (increasing with length of service) plus enhanced family leave.
