Head of Receivables and Emerging Payments, GPS Europe

Global Payment Solutions (GPS) is made up of almost 10,000 people, across more than 60 countries. The business is uniquely positioned to help clients make payments across borders, across currencies and regulations, quickly and efficiently with dedicated country and regional and global support. Our expertise in this area is repeatedly recognised by the industry’s most prominent publications and associations with numerous global, regional and country awards.
We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Head of Receivables and Emerging Payments
In this role you will
- Manage a comprehensive suite of Receivables and Emerging Payment product solutions that meet the cash management needs of Global Payments Solutions clients in Europe.
- Accountability for the Management activities in the Product Life Cycle i.e. from idea generation, through development of the business case and management of all aspects of the Receivables and Emerging Payment product suite and tracking of business benefits.
- Responsibility for interacting with the primary stakeholders in Sales, IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Legal.
- Responsibility for developing and executing product plans to increase product penetration, usage and revenue from the suite products and services that comprise the GPS Receivables and Emerging Payment product offering.
- The role also includes identifying risks and executing the risk and control agenda.
- Act as an ambassador for the team and contribute fully to its development, effectiveness and success.
- Provide leadership and guidance to in-country Payments Product Managers to develop the Receivables and Emerging business within GPS.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Substantial in-depth specialist industry experience, in the area of Emerging Payments, Cash Management and/or Treasury Management is essential.
- Prior expertise in cash management and specifically exposure to Payment products across several markets is essential.
- Proven leadership skills in complex, matrix organizations, leading teams with strong influencing and collaboration skills are essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and strong team player, with a track record of building strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with domestic and international tax and regulatory practices would be beneficial.
This is a hybrid position, based at Canada Square, London. There is an expectation for the successful candidate to travel on occasion, both nationally and internationally, so it is important that the role holder is within an easy commutable distance to London and able to travel when required.
