HGV Class 2 Driver - Ongoing Role (UB Area)

£18-£20 per hour (DOE) | 45 hours per week guaranteed | Temp to Perm Opportunity

The Best Connection (Staines) is currently recruiting experienced and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers for a long-term position with a well-established drinks distribution company. The role involves delivering palletised goods to pubs and bars across London and the West End.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers seeking stable, well-paid work with a company that offers ongoing support and potential for permanent employment.

Key Details:

• Competitive pay: £18-£20 per hour (dependent on experience)
• 07:30 start time, Monday to Friday
• Minimum 9 hours paid per shift - 45 hours per week guaranteed
• Ongoing, long-term work with potential to go permanent
• Electric pump trucks and tail lifts provided

Duties Include:

• Delivering palletised drinks orders to pubs and hospitality venues
• Operating vehicles safely and professionally across London and the West End
• Completing manual handling tasks and ensuring goods are handled with care
• Maintaining excellent customer service and representing the company to a high standard

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to safe driving practices
