Quantity Surveyor

The team works on a diverse range of complex and exciting projects, and are now looking to expand with a skilled Quantity Surveyor who has a strong background in delivering public or private sector projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects across London and the UK. Role Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the financial and contractual aspects of multiple construction projects. You will ensure that projects are delivered within budget, while also maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Your role will involve liaising with project teams, clients, and contractors, offering commercial expertise to support successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage the cost planning and commercial control of construction projects across sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and more.
Monitor project budgets, tracking costs, and managing variations or changes to contracts as needed.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to negotiate and agree on contracts, ensuring all parties meet their obligations.
Oversee the procurement of M&E packages, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
Produce detailed financial reports and forecasts, highlighting any risks or opportunities to senior management.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensuring all works meet agreed-upon standards and project specifications.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
Experience working on a variety of projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and industrial.
Excellent commercial management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Ability to manage the contractual, financial, and administrative elements of construction projects, including handling variations and claims.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience in managing relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional membership of RICS or equivalent is highly desirable.
