Interim Financial Accountant – International Transport Business
Your new company
With London being the financial epicentre of Europe, there has been an influx of people relocating. With that, there has been a natural demand and supply of overground and underground trains. My client's remit spans both within the UK and Europe and their business supports over 11,000 people yearly.
As a Financial Accountant, you will work alongside the FM and FC and provide ad-hoc support on day-to-day tasks. Some key responsibilities include:
- Support on VAT returns
- Statutory audit and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and external reporting
- Support the FC in delivering all accounting responsibilities for the legal entity
- Reporting standards: IFRS and UKGAAP
- Fully qualified accountant
- Experience within the rail industry is advantageous but not essential
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills
- Exciting interim opportunity to work for one of London's renowned transport businesses
- Hybrid working pattern – 3 days in the office in central London
