We are here to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generationsRole accountabilities:Championing high standards of environmental performance within multidisciplinary engineering projects, influencing project development, and delivering optimal environmental outcomesCoordinating the delivery of environmental work being undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams across a range of projectsCompetently undertake your own work to an excellent standard, and review the work of othersProactively managing selected projects or components of projects, taking responsibility for
resource allocation, managing subcontractors, quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/modificationsContribute to tender proposal/ bids - working as part of a project winning teamProviding environmental advice and support to clients, project managers and colleaguesEngaging with consultees and stakeholdersWorking closely with technical specialistsDeveloping outstanding reports - an ability to summarise and explain outcomes to non-technical audiences will be critical for thisManaging projects, overseeing our performance on technical, quality, commercial, and health and safetyQualifications & Experience:A good working knowledge of EIA practices and procedures and a solid understanding of environmental and sustainability principlesExperienced across a range of project types, ideally within the energy, residential/mixed use/ regeneration sector, as well as in other major infrastructure projects including rail/ highwaysPractical
working knowledge of the UK planning system and consenting processStrong report writing, verbal and presentation skills with proven experience in reviewing the work of others to ensure qualityExperience in multi-disciplinary co-ordination of projects, with good project management and technical skills, demonstrated professionalism in the creation and delivery of reports and presentationsExperience in consulting and negotiating with planning authorities, regulators, and stakeholdersDesired: Experience in the delivery of SEA and/ or Integrated Impact Assessment (IIA) projects, Knowledge and application experience of sustainability, waste or carbon assessmentsDesired: Associate Member of IEMAWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
