Portfolio Solutions Associate
Job Description
We are hiring a Portfolio Solutions Associate to support the delivery and ongoing development of Lockton’s portfolio and facility strategy. The role helps ensure facilities are effectively deployed, adopted, and enhanced across business units, delivering value for clients, brokers, and carrier partners.
You will work closely with leadership, broking teams, carriers, and technology and operational functions to support facility performance, identify new opportunities, and help scale data‑enabled portfolio solutions aligned with Lockton’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio & Facility Strategy Support
- Support the execution of Lockton’s portfolio and facility strategy across global markets.
- Maintain visibility of the facility portfolio—including setup, utilisation, and pipeline development.
- Help identify new lines of business, regions, and opportunities for facility expansion.
- Support integration of facilities into digital placement and workflow tools.
2. Facility Lifecycle Coordination
- Provide coordination and support across teams involved in facility setup, renewal, and optimisation.
- Partner with broking teams and carriers to ensure smooth utilisation and resolve day‑to‑day queries.
- Work alongside compliance, DUA, and legal teams to support required documentation and reviews.
- Assist in preparing summaries, updates, and insights for leadership and key stakeholders.
3. Business Engagement & Adoption
- Act as a point of coordination with business units to encourage adoption and utilisation of facilities.
- Prepare clear, engaging materials for business leaders, carriers, and internal forums.
- Support scoping, onboarding, and rollout of new facility solutions.
4. Opportunity Evaluation & Portfolio Development
- Assist in reviewing client portfolios, placement trends, and market appetite to help prioritise new facility opportunities.
- Support tender preparation, submissions, and early market engagement.
- Support cross‑functional teams (technology, data, legal, DUA, PMO) through design, build, testing, and launch phases.
5. Performance Insight, Data & Reporting
- Support the monitoring of utilisation, KPIs, and performance through dashboards and MI reports.
- Work with data teams to ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Translate data into clear, simple insights that support decision‑making and highlight trends or opportunities.
- Ensure data captured through digital tools supports future optimisation and portfolio growth.
6. Tools, Processes & Continuous Improvement
- Support the rollout and adoption of workflow tools and digital placement technology.
- Help align facility initiatives with wider technology and placement projects.
- Contribute to process improvements and best‑practice development to enhance scalability and the broker experience.
- Assist with cross‑functional projects and workstreams requiring structured, solution‑focused thinking.
Experience & Skills
Essential
- Experience in insurance, portfolio coordination, broking support, or a similar role.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, able to manage multiple workstreams.
- Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and MI to produce insights.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Proven ability to support structured project activity and collaborate across teams.
- Proactive, curious, collaborative, and detail‑oriented.
Desired
- Familiarity with portfolio facilities, delegated authorities, or placement models.
- Understanding of carrier engagement and insurance market dynamics.
- Experience working with technology, workflow tools, or process enhancements.
- Working knowledge of Excel and/or reporting tools such as Power BI.
