Housekeeper in Kensington, London, part-time, Job ID J1D947
A fantastic family in Kensington, London, is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard and prepare meals for the family. They are looking for someone organised and hardworking who can manage all general housekeeping duties alongside meal preparation during the week. Meals should be healthy, although no specific cuisine is required. The family has a large, friendly dog, so the candidate must be comfortable around pets, though no pet care will be required. While there is a strong preference for Spanish-speaking candidates, English-speaking applicants will also be considered.
Working hours: Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday, between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, around 6 to 8 hours per week
Duties include:
- Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Carry out routine floor care, including sweeping, hoovering, and mopping
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including sinks, baths, and showers
- Clean and maintain the kitchen area
- Wash, dry, and organise clothing and household linens
- Manage laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Make beds and replace bed linen as required
- Clean and organise dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Occasionally drop off and collect dry cleaning
- Assist with weekly meal preparation
They are looking for someone who can start on the 1st of September 2025, and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
