After-school Nanny for a lovely family in Barnes, London, Job ID J1C7DD
An After-school Nanny is needed by this lovely family based in Barnes, London to assist them in caring for their two school-aged children. An ideal candidate will be someone mature and experienced who have a teaching experience or educational support background. The main focus will be on the younger child, who has some learning difficulties and requires extra support and guidance during the after-school hours. The role includes school-pick up in Richmond, followed by homework assistance, structured activities and evening routine support. A driver who holds a full driving license is a requirement for this role.
They are looking for a native English speaker who can communicate exclusively in English to support the child's language development. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm, approximately 22.5 hours per week plus additional babysitting as needed
Duties include:
- School pick-up from Richmond
- After-school care with a focus on their younger child
- Homework help and academic support
- Engaging the children in age-appropriate, structured activities
- Providing emotional support and encouragement
- Light tidying related to the children
- Flexibility for occasional evening babysitting
- Preparing healthy snacks/meals for the children
The family is seeking someone who can start immediately.
