The Chancery Rosewood – opening Summer 2025, is redefining luxury in Mayfair, housed in the former U.S. Embassy and reimagined by Sir David Chipperfield. With 144 suites by Joseph Dirand and a collection of dynamic dining and bar spaces, it’s a place where experiences are curated, conversations flow, and every detail matters.

We are seeking a Restaurant General Manager to inspire a high-performing team, and ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience. GSQ will be The Chancery Rosewood's answer to a neighbourhood delicatessen and café, open both day and night, every day.  With a pastry program designed by our very own Marius Dufay, and a healthy and seasonal savoury food program, it's perfect for an everyday visit.  There are 30 indoor seats, and a spacious 50-seat terrace, overlooking Grosvenor Square. We’ll be focused on delicious coffee, a well created beverage program, great retail offering and plenty of takeaway options too. We’re looking for energetic, fast paced hospitality professionals with a passion for excellence and who thrive in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire your team, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining the highest service standards.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by managing service flow, handling feedback, and continuously elevating standards.
• Oversee financial performance , including budgets, cost control, and revenue targets, proactively making improvements where needed.
• Work closely with culinary and beverage teams to curate an outstanding menu and dining experience.
• Recruit, train, and develop a passionate team, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.

About You:

• At least two years in a similar leadership role within a high-profile restaurant.
• A natural host with a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
• A ble to motivate, support, and develop a high-performing team.
• Skilled at managing operations, budgets, and service excellence.
• Adaptable and forward-thinking , ideally with pre-opening experience and a keen eye on industry trends.
