The role - Maths & Science Teaching Assistant

A supportive and forward-thinking mainstream secondary school in Enfield is looking to appoint a committed Maths & Science Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis starting after the Easter break. In this role, you will support students across KS3 to KS5 during Maths and Science lessons, helping to reinforce key concepts and ensure all students can access the curriculum.

Responsibilities include providing in-class support to teachers, working with small groups and individual students who may need additional help, assisting with lesson preparation, and helping to maintain a positive learning environment. You may also support students preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, and passionate about helping young people achieve their academic potential in STEM subjects. Experience working in a school or educational setting would be beneficial but is not essential.
