Part-Time Care Home Cooks (x2) - Cedars House, Barnet

Location: Barnet, HertfordshireHours: 21 hours per week across 7 days (including weekends) - 7:00am startSalary: £12.82 per hour

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and serving balanced, home-cooked meals with variety and choice.Maintaining consistently high standards in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.Managing stock, food orders, and expenditure within budget.Supervising the Kitchen Assistant and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.Engaging with residents to review satisfaction and gather feedback on meals.Ensuring compliance with CareTech policies, food safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.

What We're Looking For

Experience in catering or a similar role (desirable but not essential - full training provided).Ability to follow instructions with attention to detail and minimal supervision.Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and care.A respectful and caring attitude towards residents.
