This is an opportunity to make a difference to technology that directly and indirectly supports transport services in the west of Scotland.- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Linux administration and containers.
- Ensure application security and implement best practices to protect sensitive data.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies and continuously improve your skills.
- Proven work experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on PHP, Laravel, and Vue.js or other object-oriented programming languages
- Understanding of and implementation of SOLID principals
- Solid understanding of Linux administration, including server setup and maintenance.
- Knowledge of docker and orchestration tools.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like VueJS.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with other PHP frameworks and libraries.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
