Year 3 Teacher | Merton | Independent School
An outstanding Independent School in Merton is recruiting an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to start in January 2026. This Year 3 Teacher role at the Independent School offers a rare chance to join a tightly knitted staff team in a school that values academic rigour, creativity and pastoral care. The successful Year 3 Teacher will be invited to pre-term planning before January 2026, will attend induction in January 2026, and will take up the post in class from January 2026 as the Year 3 Teacher.

Year 3 Teacher Responsibilities
The appointed Year 3 Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, knowledge-rich lessons as the Year 3 Teacher, lead practical science and enquiry topics as the Year 3 Teacher, and tailor interventions as the Year 3 Teacher. The Year 3 Teacher will track and report pupil progress, contribute to phase moderation, and work with parents to secure excellent outcomes. The Year 3 Teacher will prepare resources in the weeks ahead of January 2026 and will teach from January 2026.
Year 3 Teacher Requirements
We seek a Year 3 Teacher with QTS (or equivalent), secure KS2 practice, confident classroom management and a passion for curriculum development. The Year 3 Teacher must be ready to attend induction in January 2026, take part in pre-term planning before January 2026, and begin teaching from January 2026.
