Head of Marketing
About Installio
Residential heating makes up 17% of the UK’s carbon emissions yet just 1% of homes use heat pumps. With £20B+ market growth on the horizon and government support accelerating adoption, the opportunity is massive.
At Installio, we’re tackling the biggest barrier to scale: installation. Our mission is to unlock the UK's green collar workforce using technology to enable faster, better, and more scalable installs. Working directly with homeowners as well as installing on behalf B2B partners such as E.ON and Good Energy, our tech-enabled installation platform helps deliver and grow heat pump installation capacity at scale.
As experienced third time founders (ex-McKinsey, ex-Bloomberg), we’re backed by VC and industry leaders, embedded with major B2B players, growing fast and just getting started. Now we’re hiring a Head of marketing to help shape how the world sees and engages with Installio.
The role
As Head of marketing, you’ll own our brand and marketing strategy across three key audiences:
- Homeowners (B2C): Build an inbound growth engine through paid ads, content, social and events
- Business partners (B2B): Drive awareness and engagement among energy providers, housebuilders and retailers
- Installers: Help grow and engage a community of best-in-class tradespeople, promoting careers and excellence
You’ll report directly to the founders and work cross-functionally with ops, product and commercial to drive growth and build lasting brand equity.
What you’ll do
- Own and drive key strategic and operational projects end-to-end
- Own Installio’s brand narrative and ensure consistency across channels
- Build and execute full-funnel campaigns to drive homeowner leads and conversions
- Develop B2B marketing strategies and materials that support partner acquisition and engagement
- Create and grow a standout installer brand and community positioning Installio as the best place to build a career
- Lead paid media, social, content and events with strong creative and performance instincts
- Build marketing systems and processes that scale from tooling to reporting
- Manage agency relationships and grow an in-house team over time
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in marketing leadership roles ideally in high-growth, tech-enabled businesses
- Experience across both B2C and B2B, with strong channel ownership (paid, content, brand, events)
- Ability to craft and execute campaigns that perform across awareness and acquisition
- Comfortable with data, experimentation and performance reporting
- Creative thinker who can build a brand people love and trust
- Passionate about climate and excited to build a category-defining business
What you’ll get
- Competitive salary £60-80k and meaningful equity
- A leadership role at the intersection of climate tech, brand and growth
- Autonomy to shape our voice, vision and go-to-market strategy
- Hybrid working, with a central London HQ
