Deputy Nursery Manager
A well-established and nurturing nursery in Roehampton (SW15) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and motivated early years professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and high-quality childcare setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Nursery Manager in the effective running of the nursery
Leading and mentoring staff to deliver outstanding early years provision
Ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children
Building strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider team
Overseeing planning, observations, and assessments in line with the EYFS framework
Taking responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a nursery setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
Excellent communication, organisational, and team management skills
Passionate about delivering high-quality early years education
- 2+ years of Nursery experience under your belt
