Event Coordinator

We are looking for an Event Coordinator who can support on the planning and delivery of a range of corporate events including high profile dinners, thought leadership discussions, networking events, lectures and conferences. This is a busy events programme and is getting more popular year on year. This is a 6 mths FTC due to a member of the team working on secondment, there may be the potential for this contract to extend but not guaranteed. Key responsibilities:
- Lead logistics and planning for smaller events (dinners, webinars, workshops) from start to finish, ensuring adherence to budgets.
- Support other departments with event logistics, supplier management, catering, bookings, and on-site management.
- Assist with event marketing, including email campaigns (Dotdigital), website updates, and CRM data management (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Manage customer event bookings, including payment processing, confirmation letters, and guest lists.
- Prepare detailed runsheets and briefing packs for staff, speakers, and suppliers, and conduct event rehearsals.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Head of Events or Senior Events Manager.
To be successful in applying for this role, we are looking for candidates with some events experience (likely around 1 year), ideally this will be in an association/society type environment but this part not a deal breaker, they will consider events experience in any sector. This role really suits someone looking for their 2nd job in events. Salary DOE £31,540 + great benefits.
