Wordings Manager
Are you a contracts specialist ready to lead from the front and shape the future of a global insurance leader’s wordings function?
We’re looking for a Wordings Manager to play a key strategic role within a high-performing global team at one of the most revered Insurance Conglomerates in the world. You’ll be the go-to expert for complex policy wordings, working across multiple lines of business to support underwriters, brokers, and clients. With a strong focus on technical drafting, governance, and leadership, you’ll help drive innovation, consistency, and excellence across the business.
You’ll also play a crucial role in mentoring and developing junior talent, leading projects, and enhancing tools and processes that support contract certainty and commercial success.
We’re looking for someone with:
? Proven experience in drafting and advising on complex insurance wordings
? A solid understanding of insurance law and how policies respond in the real world
? A logical, solutions-focused approach with excellent analytical skills
? Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and face-to-face
? Leadership experience – coaching, developing and motivating others
? An interest in leveraging contract management technology and data-led insights
Experience with specialty lines, high-risk business, or delegated authority is a plus. Involvement in market wordings committees would be a strong advantage.
This is more than just a technical role – it’s your chance to influence product innovation, lead with purpose, and set the standard for wordings excellence.
Apply today and take the next step in your wordings career. For a discreet chat, reach out to [email protected]
