Site Manager
Job Title: Site Manager (Construction)
Location: Glasgow & Lanarkshire

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance + 6% Pension + Bonus
About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a well‑established construction business delivering an exciting portfolio of projects across Data Centre, Hotel, and Office developments .
This role will focus primarily on building shell works and external works , overseeing delivery to the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day site operations for shell and external construction activities
- Manage subcontractors, site teams, and logistics
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety procedures and regulations
- Monitor progress, quality, and cost performance against project targets
- Coordinate with project managers and design teams to resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting
About You
We are seeking a strong, well‑rounded construction professional with:
- Proven experience managing large‑scale projects (ideally £20m+)
- Background in industrial, pharmaceutical, or hospital environments (desirable)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- A proactive approach to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Essential requirements:
- Demonstrable experience as Site Manager or Senior Site Supervisor
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and on‑site coordination
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold) and First Aid certification
- Ability to problem‑solve and maintain calm, professional judgement under pressure
- A commitment to delivering work safely, on time and to specification
