Hospitality & Catering Assistant – Investec Bank

We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-focused Hospitality & Catering Assistan t to join our team at Investec Bank in London .

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a premium corporate environment where great hospitality, attention to detail and genuine care for our guests are at the heart of what we do.

You’ll be part of a friendly and professional team delivering a high standard of hospitality across our meeting rooms, executive spaces, events and functions. No two days are quite the same – from supporting a morning meeting or business lunch to helping deliver larger events and special occasions, you’ll play an important role in creating a seamless experience from start to finish.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys looking after people, takes pride in presentation and understands that the smallest details can make the biggest difference to a guest’s experience.

Location: London, EC2V 7QP

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

Rate of Pay: £15.15 per hour

What you'll be doing

• Delivering warm, discreet, professional and attentive hospitality to our clients and guests
• Preparing meeting rooms and event spaces to a consistently high standard
• Setting up and serving refreshments, breakfasts, lunches, dinners and event catering
• Supporting a variety of meetings, functions and corporate events
• Providing professional food and beverage service throughout events
• Ensuring all hospitality is beautifully presented and delivered at the right time
• Anticipating guest needs and responding quickly and professionally to requests
• Clearing, resetting and preparing rooms efficiently between bookings
• Checking meeting rooms and hospitality areas throughout the day to ensure standards are maintained
• Working closely with our kitchen and wider front-of-house teams to ensure each booking runs smoothly
• Assisting with larger events, including room set-up, service and breakdown
• Maintaining excellent cleanliness and presentation across all hospitality and event areas
• Following food safety, allergen, hygiene and Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Supporting other areas of the operation when required as part of one collaborative team
• Representing Vacherin and the Investec workplace experience with professionalism and pride

Previous experience within corporate hospitality, hotels, restaurants or premium food and beverage service would be beneficial. However, we're equally interested in people with the right attitude, personality and willingness to learn,
