M&E Shift Leader - Days only - FM Service Provider - Iconic Building - London (City) - Up to £57,000

One of the leading maintenance contractors in London is currently recruiting for an M&E Shift Leader to work on a prestigious contract in the City close to Fenchurch Street. You will provide an exceptional high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial, occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service. The successful candidate will be Electrically or Mechanically qualified with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and you will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive maintenance works to Electrical, HVAC plant and associated equipment Hours of work:- Continental shift - Days only
- 07:00am to 19:00pm
- Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance & Reactive maintenance is carried out to all client assets through operation of Planned Preventative Maintenance System.
- Manage the shift team.
- Deal with hands-on work when needed.
- Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly corrected to maintain the plant in serviceable order at all times.
- Carry out routine quality checks on workforce activities, record keeping and general housekeeping.
- Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
- Ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are completed in the form of job sheets.
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared, reviewed and utilized for all tasks (PPM and reactive) carried out to ensure safe working practices.
- Fully electrically or mechanically qualified to City & Guilds or recognised standard.
- City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE Regulations
- To be conversant with electrical plant related building services PPM's carried out in-line with SFG20 and resulting reactive work
- Requirement to complete critical environment training, and to carry out scenario training as per schedule, guide and train shift team on SOP's/EOP's etc.
- Experience with LV switchgear, HV generation and control systems (Desirable / Not essential)
- HV & LV Authorised Person (Desirable / Not essential)
